Today's Spotlight

EUTOPIA is co-organizing the Times Higher Education Europe Universities Summit in Barcelona - May 16 - 17, 2022

European nations are facing major challenges including climate change, the digital transformation and migration crises, while emerging from a huge global health crisis and the resulting economic fallout. At the junction of education, research, and innovation, higher education has a unique position in shaping sustainable and resilient economies, and in making the European Union greener, digitally literate, and more inclusive.

The European Universities Strategy was launched in January 2022, alongside European Commission recommendations on how to increase cooperation across the entire higher education sector. It empowers universities by championing them as ‘lighthouses’ of the European way of life, helping them increase transnational cooperation and supporting a green and digital transition.
