EUTOPIA Week at the VUB: Brussels is your campus!

EUTOPIA Week brings together key players – students, researchers, experts, and strategic partners - from across our European alliance network, every six months. As a founding member, VUB is proud to host the fifth edition of this week in our beloved Brussels, oftentimes dubbed the heart of Europe.

Join (one of) our many interactive workshops, high-level panel conversations, city tours, cultural visits, ... Participating in EUTOPIA Week from abroad/the comfort of your own home? You can still get a taste of Brussels, as a plethora of sessions are available in a hybrid manner, allowing you to dial in remotely.

 A warm welcome to EUTOPIA week!

EUTOPIA, that’s 10 like-minded universities ready to reinvent themselves, joining forces to build the European University of the future. And construction works are well underway. The core of a future-proof EUTOPIAn university? Connecting our communities. With and for the students, staff, researchers and stakeholders of our 10 institutions. So how can you get involved? Glad you ask! EUTOPIA week BXL is your chance to engage with European guests, the city of Brussels, local and global policymakers, diplomats, …

Are you ready? All warmed up? Join the countdown, and participate in our Road to BXL Strava move challenge!
 
Run/swim/walk/bike… The members of the EUTOPIA communities log their exercise sessions and try to cover as much distance as possible during this challenge. 
 
How can you participate?

  1. Download the Strava app 
  2. Follow our account 'EUTOPIA is Moving'
  3. Join the EUTOPIA sport challenge group
  4. Put on your shoes or swimming suit and get those km’s!

New podcast series: Cities of EUTOPIA

Ca’Foscari University of Venice proudly introduces you to the cities of the EUTOPIA partner universities via our new podcast series.
 
In the series’ second episode, prof. dr. Birgit Van Puymbroeck (EUTOPIA Young Leaders Academy Fellow) and prof. dr. Ann Peeters (VUB partner in the Connected Learning Community on Multilingualism and Diversity) introduce you to Brussels and its rich history in multilingualism.
